The Tairawhiti Community Commissioning Working Group has published its response to a series of questions submitted by Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou (TRONPnui) regarding the Tairawhiti Community Commissioning proposal. The Working Group was invited by TRONPnui to present the proposal on 26 May 2026. Following that meeting, TRONPnui advised that it would provide a series of questions for the Working Group to address. The questions were received on 1 June 2026, and the Working Group’s response was provided on 3 June 2026.
Given the level of public interest in this matter, the response is being shared publicly in the interests of transparency and to make this information available to the wider community.
