The Social Investment Agency has now opened the Community Commissioning Expression of Interest process.
There will be three phases for this opportunity:
- Expression of Interest – an open EOI process running from 14 May to 12 June 2026, followed by a Wānanga Phase and the selection of up to two local areas in July 2026.
- Discovery and Design Phase – funding and support for up to two local areas to develop a Full Proposal (August 2026 to March 2027).
- Request for Full Proposal – for shortlisted organisations (January to March 2027).
- The Tairawhiti Community Commissioning working group continues to progress the regional proposal ahead of the 12 June submission deadline.
A further round of engagement hui and process updates will be announced shortly, including the release and sharing of the final Tairawhiti Community Commissioning EOI proposal.
